Simple ISSUU Image Downloader

Simple ISSUU Image Downloader, also known as SI2D  is a tool that allows user to download every page of an ISSUU publication as a .jpg image, in a determined folder.

To download an Issuu publication, the user has to be registered and publication needs to have download enabled. With this program, the user can download ANY ISSUU publication without register, allowing offline view of the magazines, file format convert (cbz/pdf), Tablet/Smartphone transfer or whatever you want do with it!

The program automatizes the process of getting a ISSUU publication ID, number of pages and download of the images. Simple paste the publication URL and the program do the job. 

Simple ISSUU Image Downloader works  in Windows, Mac OS X and all flavors of Linux. 

The program has three versions: Java jar file, Windows executable and Mac OS X executable. 

The program is still in development, in Beta stage.

Instructions

INSTALLING AND RUNNING

First of all, this is a JAVA app. So, make sure you have Java 7 installed *before* you install SI2D.

You can download Java from www.java.com/getjava.

JAVA EDITION (Windows, Mac OS X and Linux (*nix))

To install, extract the files from the ZIP archive (do not extract files from the JAR) to a folder.

To run from a command-line, change directory to where the JAR-file is located, then execute:

java -jar si2d.jar

On most platforms (WINDOWS, MACOSX) you can launch the app by double-click the JAR.

Note that the version of JAVA must be JAVA 1.7.0 or superior.

WINDOWS EDITION

Download and run the installer. After install, run program from Start Menu.

Note that you already have to install JAVA 1.7.0 or superior in your system.

MAC EDITION

Download and run the installer. Copy the app to Applications folder

Note that you already have to install JAVA 1.7.0 or superior in your system.

Important: There´s an issue with JAVA 7 and MacOS, that not recognizes the installation path. If you already install Java 7 in your system and the program says that´s not installed, try to download the SI2D Java Edition, unzip and double click in the SI2D.jar.
